Languages Other Than English (LOTE) - Spanish
Streaky Bay Area School offers Spanish as its Language other than English. Spanish is currently offered from reception
through to year 5 and will be offered through to year 10 by 2007 as required under DECD guidelines.
Streaky Bay Area School has won a Don Quijote scholarship in 2004 which will enable a staff member to study Spanish
for two weeks at a Don Quijote university in a Spanish speaking country.
